Four captains. Everyone lined up. One by one, teams were picked until it was time to play.
The Schoolyard Showdown brings that same excitement back—this time with adult kickball.
This one-day tournament is the perfect opportunity to experience Augusta Premier Kickball before our inaugural Fall 2026 season begins. Whether you’re already registered for the season, considering joining, or simply looking for a fun Sunday afternoon, Schoolyard Showdown is open to everyone.
How It Works
Every player registers individually—no team required.
On game day, four captains will be selected and the draft order will be randomly determined. Captains will then build their teams through a live snake-style draft, creating four evenly balanced teams ready to compete.
Each team will consist of 10–12 players, including at least two women.
Every team is guaranteed two games, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to compete while meeting new players and experiencing the APK difference.
Games will be played using official Augusta Premier Kickball League Rules.

- Registration Fee: $15 per player
- Registration is limited to 48 players. Once registration is full, the draft pool closes.

The event will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Harrison-Caver Park located in Clearwater, SC (North Augusta+)
- 1:30 PM – Live Captain’s Draft
- 2:30 PM – Game #1
- 3:30 PM – Game #2
- 4:30 PM – Schoolyard Showdown Championship
- 5:30 PM – Third Place Game
