Our goal is simple: create the best kickball experience in Augusta.

Augusta Premier Kickball games are played on Thursday evenings, making kickball a great way to break up the workweek and spend a night competing and socializing with other adults from around the Augusta area.

Most games are scheduled at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, or 8:30 PM. A 9:30 PM game may occasionally be scheduled depending on league capacity and available field space.

Schedules are released before each season and are available throughout the season in the Schedule section, as well as on individual team pages.

Augusta Premier Kickball plays at recreational fields throughout the Greater Augusta and CSRA area.

Field locations may vary by season based on facility availability. Locations can include facilities in Augusta-Richmond County and surrounding communities, with each season’s confirmed locations published on the league schedule before games begin.

For the Fall 2026 inaugural season, games include dates at Eisenhower Park in Augusta and may also utilize Harrison-Caver Park in Clearwater, South Carolina.

Players should always check the official schedule or their Team Headquarters for the current game location before heading to the field.

Each Augusta Premier Kickball season includes a nine-game regular season, followed by postseason play and our season-ending Jake Smith Championship Night.

The exact postseason format may vary depending on the number of teams participating in a season.

Absolutely. No kickball experience is required.

Many players join Augusta Premier Kickball with little or no previous kickball experience. Our adult coed league is designed to provide healthy competition while remaining welcoming to beginners, recreational players, and experienced athletes alike.

The rules are easy to learn, and players have access to the league rulebook and other resources before taking the field.

Whether you’ve played kickball for years or haven’t kicked a red rubber ball since elementary school, you’re welcome here.

Augusta Premier Kickball uses its own official rules designed specifically for adult recreational coed kickball.

Rules cover team composition, kicking order, pitching, fielding, base running, substitutions, game timing, scoring, sportsmanship, player safety, and other aspects of league play.

Some APK rules may differ from other kickball leagues, so players should review the official rulebook before playing. Among other differences, APK has specific rules governing coed defensive play, pitching rotations, bunting, rushing female kickers, substitutions, the kicking box, Pitcher’s Possession Rule, and player safety.

Yes! Augusta Premier Kickball is an adult coed kickball league serving Augusta, Georgia and the surrounding CSRA.

Our nonprofit league brings adults together for organized Thursday-night kickball, friendly competition, social events, and opportunities to meet people from throughout Augusta, Evans, Grovetown, North Augusta, Aiken, Fort Eisenhower, and surrounding communities.

Players can register with an existing team, create their own team, or join individually as a Free Agent.

Registration deadlines vary by season.

We recommend registering as early as possible since team spots and free agent placements may become limited as the season approaches. Similar leagues often close registration shortly before the season starts or when leagues reach capacity.

Players must be at least 21 years old unless otherwise approved by league management.

Registration fees for Augusta Premier Kickball vary depending on the season and how you register. Players may join as part of a registered team or sign up individually as a Free Agent.

Registration fees help cover league expenses such as field rentals, officials, equipment, insurance, player benefits, league events, awards, technology, and other costs associated with providing an organized adult kickball experience.

Yes. Teams may add players prior to roster deadlines established each season. However, players cannot be added mid season unless a sub is being converted into an available roster spot or a rostered player gets injured and a replacement player is needed.

Absolutely.

Teams are welcome to create their own jerseys or work with our official apparel partner, Mod Ink, to create custom shirts, performance jerseys, names, numbers, and logos.

While not required, matching shirts are strongly encouraged and help create a better game-day experience.

Team Captains are an important part of Augusta Premier Kickball and serve as the primary connection between their players and the league.

If you’d like to create a team, you can register as a Team Captain when registration opens for an upcoming season. Captains are responsible for building and communicating with their roster, helping their team stay informed, promoting sportsmanship, and serving as their team’s representative within the league.

Team Captains may also participate in the Captain’s Council, giving teams a voice in certain league matters, disputes, and future improvements.

Yes. Free agents will be assigned to teams prior to the season so everyone has time to connect with teammates before the first game.

No worries! Many of our players join with little or no kickball experience. Kickball is easy to learn, and our teams welcome players of all skill levels.

Augusta Premier Kickball includes players with a wide range of athletic backgrounds and experience levels. Some have played competitive sports for years; others haven’t played an organized sport since recess.

Kickball is easy to learn, and there’s room for different skills, abilities, and playing styles on every team.

If you can kick a ball, cheer on your teammates, and have a good time on a Thursday night, you’ll fit right in.

If a situation cannot be resolved on the field, the issue may be reviewed by the Augusta Premier Kickball Captain’s Council.

Rather than a single league official making the decision, Team Captains have the opportunity to review and vote on certain disputes or league matters.

Registered team captains will also receive a printed copy before the season begins.

Yes. Prize money is awarded to the top finishing teams, and individual player awards are presented during Championship Night.

Team captains submit nominations throughout the season.

Captains then vote on award recipients before Championship Night.
