The Schoolyard Showdown is a one-day kickball tournament where players register individually and teams are built live through a classic schoolyard-style draft.
Whether you’re a seasoned kickball player, new to the sport, or considering joining Augusta Premier Kickball this fall, this event is the perfect opportunity to meet new people, experience our league, and enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition.
Here’s How It Works
- Register as an individual player.
- Four captains will be selected.
- Draft order will be randomized.
- Captains will build their teams using a snake-style draft.
- Every team will include at least 2 women.
- Every team is guaranteed 2 games, with the opportunity to compete for Schoolyard Showdown Champion.
All games will be played using official Augusta Premier Kickball League Rules.

- 1:30 PM – Live Captain’s Draft
- 2:30 PM – Game #1
- 3:30 PM 0 Game #2
- 4:30 PM – Championship Game
- 5:30 PM – Third Place Game
- Come after church. Be home before dinner.
Registration Information
- Registration Fee: $15 per player
- Player Limit: 48 participants (registration closes once all spots are filled)
