League Update: Eisenhower Park is Home for Fall 2026
- On September 14
We’ve been working behind the scenes—planning so you can play, if you will—and we’re beyond excited to finally share the field update we’ve been working toward since May.
We’re Home.
Eisenhower Park, Field 3, will officially be home to Augusta Premier Kickball for the remainder of our inaugural Fall 2026 season.
Yep. All season long.
When we first began working to secure fields for Fall 2026, Eisenhower Park was always our preferred home. Its central Augusta location, accessibility for our players, and familiarity within the local kickball community made it the facility we believed best aligned with the experience we wanted to build.
Earlier this summer, we were still waiting for answers about whether we’d be able to play there at all. By August, we’d secured our first four September game nights at Eisenhower while continuing to work with Augusta Recreation & Parks on the remainder of the season.
Now we finally have the update we’ve been hoping to share: Field 3 is ours for Fall 2026.
No alternating between facilities. No wondering where we’ll be playing from week to week.
For our regularly scheduled Fall 2026 games, Thursday nights will stay under the lights at Eisenhower Park.
And after seeing the energy surrounding our first couple of weeks there, we couldn’t be happier about it.
What About Inclement Weather?
Our Fall 2026 schedule already includes November 5 as one designated make-up date in the event games are postponed because of inclement weather.
If Mother Nature cooperates, great. We won’t need it. If one game night needs to be rescheduled, we’ve already planned for it.
If more than one make-up date becomes necessary during the season, additional rescheduled games may be split between Eisenhower Park and Harrison-Caver Park based on facility availability.
Players should always refer to the official league schedule and their Team Headquarters for the most current game information, particularly following a weather-related postponement.
And Harrison-Caver? Still Part of the APK Story.
While we won’t need Harrison-Caver Park for our regularly scheduled Fall games, we don’t want this announcement to pass without recognizing the role the facility and the Aiken County Parks & Recreation team played in getting our inaugural season off the ground.
When our Eisenhower Park reservations were still uncertain, Harrison-Caver Park gave APK something incredibly important: Certainty.
From our earliest conversations, D’Marius and the Aiken County Parks & Recreation team were welcoming, responsive, organized, and willing to provide our new league with a place to play. Their support gave us a quality backup facility and helped ensure that one thing was never in question:
There was going to be kickball this fall.
We’re incredibly appreciative of that partnership, and Harrison-Caver Park remains an important facility option for APK moving forward.
A Big Thank You to Augusta Recreation & Parks
We also want to give a special shoutout to Commissioner Slendak, Deputy Administrator Jackson, and the staff at Augusta Recreation & Parks for their assistance throughout the facility reservation process.
From the beginning, we’ve been clear that our goal wasn’t simply to find somewhere to play. We wanted to establish a home for Augusta Premier Kickball and begin building a relationship that could support recreational opportunities for our players for seasons to come. Our earlier field updates documented that process as it developed.
We appreciate the time, communication, and energy that went into accommodating a brand-new league and helping us secure Field 3 for the remainder of our inaugural season.
Now We Get to Play.
There are plenty of games left to play. Plenty of ridiculous catches to make. Plenty of runs to score. Plenty of Thursday nights at our league bar, World of Beer afterward. And eventually, a Championship to decide.
But now we know exactly where most of those memories will be made.
Eisenhower Park. Field 3. Our home for Fall 2026.
We’ll see y’all under the lights.
